The Stubai Glacier rests at the western end of the 40km-long Stubaital Valley in Tyrol state. Tyrol lies entirely within the Eastern Alps, providing incredible mountain scenery everywhere you look.

The Stubai ski resort covers 1450 hectares, and only 205 hectares are groomed, leaving huge tracts of terrain for off-piste skiing. The resort is busy cultivating a freeride culture with its “Powder Department”, and is quickly becoming known as a freeride mecca. Stubai has everything a skier could want, from long, sweeping glacier runs, to steep, narrow couloirs that get the heart racing.
