Jana(July 2017)

Stand Up Paddling was excellent, amazing scenery, great hosts. The lunch at the Haltia Nature Reserve was fantastic on both days, in general the whole tentsile experience was fun.

Annette(June 2017)

Arhi was fab - there was a great mix of structured activity and relaxing time. Everything was super organised and it was just so easy! The guides were brilliant too, for both canoeing and SUP boarding - although I've definitely decided I prefer Sit Down Paddle Boarding to Stand Up Paddle Boarding! Pre-trip, I loved that we could both pay directly, rather than one person paying all the money and faffing with bank transfers etc. it made everything so much easier! Arhi was always quick to reply to messages and very helpful! Thanks to all involved. Everything was great - and I love that you've started doing guaranteed adventures. I'll be booking another one sometime :)

Snehal(June 2017)

The variety of activities and friendly hosts were great.

Maeve(June 2017)

Caroline(June 2017)

Fantastic hosts, punctual, polite, informative, fun, knowledgeable, friendly, everything you could ask for in a host and guide.

Christopher(June 2017)

Camping, paddleboard, tentsile and location were great. Great outdoors also.

No particular level of fitness is needed to enjoy this trip, just bring a sense of adventure and a willingness to try new things! No previous canoeing or SUP experience is needed.

SUP is short for Stand Up Paddleboarding, a fun and peaceful sport that brings you closer to nature and gives you the freedom to experience the water like never before. You'll stand or kneel on a paddleboard and use a long paddle to gently propel yourself across the lake. The paddleboards are wide and very stable, so it's not as wobbly as you might think. Another great thing about SUP is that's it completely beginner friendly and no matter your skill level, you're guaranteed to have fun!

Sure can! Over 50% of our travellers travel solo, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people.

Summer daytime temperatures in Nuuksio range from 16 – 22 °C and cool off to 7 – 12 °C at night. Rainstorms occur on average 15 days a month. Summer nights are very short and don't really get dark at all. From mid-August onward the nights get darker, revealing starry skies and sometimes even the aurora if you’re really lucky.
