If Slovakia is the next big thing in European skiing, Jasna could well be its beating heart. Located in the Low Tatras mountain range, the resort has 46km of varied terrain suitable for beginner, intermediate or expert skiers. The resort has seen a huge investment over the past decades, with 40 brand new cable cars, high-speed lifts and two floodlit slopes for night skiing. The investment is still ongoing to continually increase the size of the ski area.

You will be staying in the nearby town of Liptovsky Mikulas, which boasts great apres nightlife as well as extremely good value restaurants. The best thing about it? Beer costs no more than a quid.

What to Expect

Day 1: Pick-up from Airport

Your host will meet you at Krakow airport and transfer you to your hotel for the weekend. Settle in and explore the village with your host, as you get to know what you’ll be up to over the next few days.

Day 2: Skiing in Jasna Ski Resort

Get up early and tuck into a typical Slovakian breakfast before you hit the slopes. You will meet your local host at 8:30 and get to the ski resort for 9:00, where you will be some of the first on the untouched slopes.

Spend the day exploring the whole ski resort. You can ski on both the North and South side of the mountain, over the 46km of slopes. Your host will pick you up from the ski resort at 16:00 so you’ll be back at your hotel by 16:30.

Either head out to apres in town or spend the evening relaxing. If you want, your local host can even take you to the Bešeňová thermal pools - the perfect end to a hard day of skiing.

Day 3: Last day of Skiing and Departure

Unfortunately, your trip is coming to an end, but don’t worry - you will still get some slope time before you head home.

Make the most of your last day in the spectacular Jasna ski resort, as you hit your favourite runs, or try the harder ones you’ve been working up to.

Your host will collect you from the resort with all your luggage ready for your transfer to the airport. This weekend break does not allow any unused time.

You will be back at the Krakow airport at 19:00 in time for an evening flight.

Accommodation

You’ll stay at an 3-star accommodation with ensuite bathrooms. The accommodation is subject to availability. Your local host will look for the best possible accommodation close to the ski resort. Your host will consult with you to find the perfect accommodation based on your wishes.
