Sure can! A lot of people do, and it’s a great way to meet like-minded people.

Your host is happy to guide you 1:1 on the climb, this will cost £650.

This is a mountaineering activity over rugged terrain that includes scrambling the upper part of the peak. You need to be used to off-trail hiking and be ready to take on a 10-hour trail.

You can expect the weather to be warm and sunny but that being said, this is the Green Coast and downpours can catch you out so be prepared with layers and waterproof clothing.

In village restaurants, expect tapas, salads, meat and fish. It’s not difficult to get vegetarian options. Dinner at the mount is usually pasta salad and meatballs stew with fruit for dessert.

If you have any special requests, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Picos is made up of three massifs; the eastern Macizo Ándara (2444m); the western Macizo El Cornión (2596m); and the rocky Macizo Central (2648m). These massifs are located in the Cantabrian Mountains and are a part of the first landscape to be recognised as a National Park in Spain. This is one of the few truly unspoiled areas of the country that is still unaffected by large numbers of tourists. The steep rocky mountains sit close to the sea with a lower step of deep beech tree forest; above, an alpine area ruled by chamois. All-in-all, this park is packed with natural wonders - high meadows and lakes, limestone crags, river gorges and an abundance of wildlife.
