Trebinje is the southernmost city in Bosnia, just an hour away from Dubrovnik. The Old Town was established in the 18th century and managed to escape any heavy damage during the war, leaving its historic buildings and quaint stone bridge still intact today.

Bosnia’s highest peak, Maglic, lies in the Sutjeska National Park in the south-east. This area was a huge battleground during World War II and holds monuments to commemorate those lost in battle.

Sitting in the centre of a natural triangle of mountains; Zelengora, Volujak and Maglic; the park is home to one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe and the Skakavac (Grasshopper) waterfall hidden within it.
