Key Information
Day 1
Explore the sights and aromas of Marrakech

Your host will meet you at the airport and take you to your traditional riad accommodation in Marrakech’s historic medina. You'll then get the chance to spend the day exploring the city’s colorful souks, wander the UNESCO-listed main square and indulge in some amazing Moroccan food.
Day 2
Hike to the Toubkal Refuge

Hiking
Wake up early and drive through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains to Imlil, where you'll meet your support crew and start your trek. Ascend the dramatic Mizane Valley, passing Berber farming villages and stop for lunch on the trail. In the afternoon you’ll arrive at the refuge where you can settle in, meet other hikers and refuel with a well-earned dinner cooked by your support crew. Sleep well before your summit attempt tomorrow.
Day 3
Summit Mount Toubkal

Hiking
Wake while it’s still dark and begin your ascent. Reach the final ridge and finish the climb to the top (13,671 ft) in time to watch the sunrise over the mountains and the distant Sahara. Rest up and then begin the descent back to Imlil where you’ll sleep soundly in a comfortable hotel.
Day 4
Road trip to the Dades Valley

Driving
Take a scenic drive over the Atlas Mountains and descend toward the otherworldly landscape of the Sahara Desert, passing Kasbahs (fortified homes) and oases. You'll also have the option to stop at the Ouarzazate Film Studios and Ait Ben Haddou, famous as the filming location for movies and TV shows including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Arrive in the Dades Valley and take a hike to explore it or just relax back at your hotel.
Day 5
Road trip to Todra Gorge and camel trek to the Berber camp

Driving
Drive through Todra Gorge, an impressive canyon with sheer, 525 ft cliff walls and then take a short hike to a date palm oasis. Rendezvous with your camels in Merzouga, gear up and ride into the desert. Arrive at a traditional Berber camp surrounded by dramatic dunes and enjoy dinner around the fire before sleeping under the stars or in a comfortable, carpeted Berber tent.
Day 6
Sunrise camel trek and road trip back to Marrakech

Driving
Wake early and enjoy a sunrise camel trek back to Merzouga. Eat breakfast, shower off the desert, and then drive back to Marrakech, stopping along the way for photos, exploration, and food. You’ll arrive at your riad in the early evening in time to find a restaurant for couscous or a tasty tagine before collapsing into bed.
Day 7
Time to head home. What a week.

Relax over your last Moroccan breakfast, explore the town some more if you have time, then transfer to the airport to catch your flight home.

What is the food like?

Moroccan food is a unique blend of sweet and savory flavors. Local specialties include tajines (a stew cooked in an earthenware pot), couscous, and pastilles (flaky pastries stuffed with meat and dusted with cinnamon and sugar). Food is often spiced with cumin, turmeric, and ginger.
Meals on the trek are fresh, healthy, and cooked by your Berber muleteers. Breakfast will usually feature bread, jelly, cookies, fruit, juice, coffee, and milk, while lunch will feature salad, tomatoes, carrots, lentils, beans, rice or pasta, fish (sardines, tuna), and seasonal fruit. Dinner, meanwhile, will usually include soup, a classic Moroccan tajine, couscous, olives, nuts, and fruit.
Vegetarians, vegans, and other dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for - please just request on your passenger info form.
What is the accommodation like?

Marrakech
In Marrakech, you'll stay in a beautiful riad - a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard. The exact riad you stay in will be confirmed closer to the time based on availability and group size. All are chosen for their excellent reputation, location, beautiful decor, and welcoming service.

The Atlas Mountains
You'll stay in a mixed dorm in a mountain refuge en-route to the top of Mount Toubkal. Facilities are basic, however, there is a fun, social area where you can meet other climbers from all around the world.

Imlil and the Dades Valley
You'll stay in a twin room in small but comfortable hotels with unique decor and ensuite bathrooms. You'll usually stay in Dar Adrar in Imlil and Dar Essyaha in the Dades Valley.

The Sahara Desert
You'll stay by the village of Merzouga, close to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Sahara Desert. The Berber camp here provides permanent carpeted tents with beds – or, if you prefer, blankets so you can sleep directly under the stars.
Upgrades
For solo travellers looking for their own space, an optional private room and single tent can be booked for an extra charge, see Optional Extras for the price. Please request this at the time of booking (this is subject to availability). This is only available for the nights in Imlil, Dades and in the Berber camp, not for the night spent on the mountain.
This trip has been rated as Challenging
No technical climbing experience is needed; however, the elevation, loose footing, and time involved in climbing Mount Toubkal mean a moderate level of fitness is required. The camel trek, though potentially a little uncomfortable, is easy for most travelers. There is a lot of distance to cover on this trip, Morocco is a big country! The driving times listed include stops for sightseeing and eating, so most find it pretty easygoing and a nice time to relax after having climbed a mountain in the first part of the trip.
What will I need to carry?
Mules will carry your main overnight luggage during the trek and you will need to carry your daypack with your daytime essentials (extra layer, snacks, water etc.). For the welfare of the mules, please ensure your main overnight luggage is in a soft-sided bag and weighs no more than 33 lbs.
From April to October, daytime temperatures in the Atlas Mountains are typically warm (77 - 86°F) but cool off considerably at night, and the higher you go, the cooler it gets (you may even need gloves on a summit day in August!) In the winter, daytime temperatures are still warm (50 - 68°F), but nighttime temperatures can drop below freezing. Afternoon storms are always possible, but the amounts are small and generally don’t prevent anyone from enjoying the trek.
View detailed weather for the climb here on Mountain Forecast
The desert is considerably hotter than the mountains, though nighttime temperatures drop significantly and can even approach freezing in the winter.
In the summer (June, July, August), daytime temperatures have been known to approach 113°F in the desert and in Marrakech so please ensure that you come prepared with sun protection, light and airy clothing and electrolytes/rehydration solutions if traveling at this time of year. If it becomes unsafe to camp in the desert due to extreme summer temperatures, your host will accommodate you in a nearby hotel instead.
Tantalising Toubkal and Tagines
Great Trip.
Our fantastic guide Mohammed helped get us up rhe mountain with his enthusiasm for the local area. All the accommodation we were in was of a high standard. Highlights were the climb up Toubkal and the camel ride to the desert.
Trip to Toubkal
Overall an unforgettable trip with a great group dynamic and wonderful guides.

Fabulous Adventure
We had a fantastic trip! Climbing Mt Toubkal was tough but incredibly gratifying. What an incredible feeling of accomplishment! Trekking into the Sahara was awesome! The camp and tents were far beyond my expectations and the camel rides were great fun!! Excellent food throughout the trip and consistently nice accommodations!! Loved it!!
Adventure of a lifetime
Amazing trip! Much better adventures put on a well planned, and well executed trip, alongside an amazing like minded group of people. You really feel like you’ve seen the country from this trip! From a challenging but rewarding hike up mount Toubkal, to driving through the atlas mountain range, stopping at amazing view points along the way, to wandering through beautiful gorges, to riding your camel in the Sahara! You really get the opportunity to soak in the country in its splendour. Bring plenty of snacks to see you up the 2 day hike, you’ll be running on sugar fumes as fun as all sleeping in a shared dorm is, sleep is hard to come by prior to your summit attempt. The guides are fantastic and the pace is well suited to the whole group ensuring no one is left behind or getting burnt out, we had a mix of ages and abilities in our group and everyone successfully made it to the summit which was credit to the amazing guide's. If you’re a bit unbalanced like me, be prepared to come down some of the mountain on your bum! Some steep gravel/scree sections make for entertaining descent. Throughout the whole trip you are well fed, albeit heavily influenced by moroccos dish of choice… Tagine… be prepared to live off Tagine, but it’s is all amazing food and plenty of it. Plenty of stops to pick up western snacks if you need a boost. Lots of driving, with regular stops to stretch out and cool off. Make sure to bring a hand fan for travelling as it can get hot in the minibus. To complete your trip, what better way to celebrate by a night camping (was more glamping) in the Sahara desert, transported by camel! The journey back to Marrakesh is a long one, but our driver was fantastic and we did stop along the way to stretch out and cool down as it was a toasty ride back. There is a lot of driving on this trip but I feel this contributes to feeling like you’ve seen the country, sitting watching the rolling landscape change from mountains to towns to desert is part of the amazing experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone! I had a fantastic time.

Had the best time. Beautiful
Had the best time. Beautiful scenery, inspiring group and wonderful people. There was a fair bit of driving but lots of stops, lovely views and we could relax as our Driver was great! (don’t know how else you would see everything in a short space of time. ) Loved the desert!
An unforgettable adventure!
Climbing to the summit of Mount Toubkal was challenging, but absolutely worth it. The experience of standing on the highest peak in North Africa is something I’ll never forget. Our guides were fantastic—supportive, encouraging, and full of local knowledge. The food throughout the trip was excellent, with generous portions (maybe even too generous—we had lots of leftovers!). We had a great group, which made the journey even more enjoyable. This was my first trip with Much Better Adventures, and it certainly won’t be my last. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, meaningful adventure.

Amazing trip!
This trip exceeded my expectations, from the hike and the amazing views, to the great food, friendly people and rich culture. Would definitely recommend!
While the country certainly has
While the country certainly has breath taking scenery, from the desert's golden dunes to the stunning Atlas Mountains, unfortunately, the trip left me feeling more like a tourist trapped in a curated experience rather than a traveller engaging with the authentic spirit of Morocco. If you’re seeking authenticity, I’d recommend doing thorough research to find less commercialised experiences or perhaps traveling independently to engage with locals more meaningfully.
Good trip, but maybe choose a different tour operator
Mount Toubkal, Morocco and the Sahara are amazing. Some of the finer details that would have been controlled by MBA were certainly lacking though. It's mentioned that you need to supply your own snacks, but as a very minimum I would have expected water to be provided when heading into the desert. There's no mention that you need to have a good supply of cash to use in the shops, some people on the trip struggled with this. Despite spending almost full days in the minibus, there was no air-conditioning and the windows didn't open so this was pretty uncomfortable. Meal times were shared tagines. One would have comfortably fed 2 people but we had to share between 6 of us. One evening we were discussing how to fairly share the 2 pieces of potato to ensure nobody went hungry. The stay in the desert was the exception where enough food was available. Where lunch isn't included you are still taken to a restaurant of the guide's choosing where you'll be charged £15 + drinks for a buffet. Only at the end of the meal do you realise how expensive it is. Neighbouring restaurants were offering meals for £3.

Amazing trip!
Great trip, very well organised with scenic views on the top of the mountain and a variation in landscapes: mountains, gorges and desert! Mohammed and Mustafa were great guides!!! Toukbal refugy was great offering breathtaking views! Camel treks and sleeping in Sahara were magic!!! Definitely recommend it! The local guides are doing great job and Assia and Muna amazing admin work! Thanks for the great experience! Will come back soon!

What an experience!!
This is the first time I have used MBA for travel and I am very impressed. The logistics were perfectly executed, from accommodation pickup (we arrived in Marrakech early) to the mountain climb and Sahara stay.
The mountain was harder than the website makes out so make sure you have a good level of fitness and good boots! The guides are very experienced and accomodate to all your needs. Hitting the summit at sunrise was breathtaking! The Sahara experience was beautiful too, albeit slightly quicker than we expected.
Be aware that there is a fair amount of driving in between elements. We spent approximately 19 hours in a cramped van with no air conditioning. Hard to get away from this really as you are in the desert after all!! Despite this we really enjoyed our time with amazing people doing a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend this trip!!
Amazing adventure
A whirlwind way to see the best of Morocco away from the usual tourist haunts. You have to really like travelling by road to appreciate this trip and be prepared for some sore muscles!

Morocco stole my heart 🇲🇦🐪
Not sure where to begin. This was my second solo trip with MBA so I was anxious to see if this trip would live up to the hype of my previous trip. I just did not expect to have my breath taken away by Morocco! I arrived a day early and walked around Marakech by myself and I never once felt unsafe or nervous. My favourite part of the trip was waking up while the stars were still out and trekking to the summit of Mt. Toubkal at sunrise. The climb got challenging towards the summit but the views were 100% worth it. I also loved the hour-long camel ride into the Sahara desert and the hour-long quad bike ride back from the desert. The journey and the experience in the Sahara is surreal, like teleporting into that Windows screensaver with the sand dunes! There's a lot more to this trip than the hike and the desert though. On the day we visited the Dades Gorge, we walked for an hour through a village picking jammy figs and grapes from the trees and we then visited a Berber rug-making cooperative. This trip was special for me because some of the stellar people in my group organized a little surprise celebration for my birthday complete with cake and offers for a private belly dance show at the Dades Gorge! Jokes aside, I met some of the most incredible, wonderful people on this trip. The highlight of this trip for me was definitely the experience of engaging with the warmth of the Moroccan people. I hope I will always remember how happy I was in their company.

Epic Peaks, Sands and Starry Nights!
Very amazing experience and highly recommend. Climbing Toubkal was the highlight for me. Not like any other mountain I have climbed. The tour guide Ibrahim was amazing and very passionate. Not only do you see the mountain and the desert but you are immersed in the culture and meet the locals all the way from swimming in a gorge with locals to meeting the woman who hand craft traditional rugs and watch them work. This tour had a bit of everything. Sleeping in the desert was well worth it but it does come with the cost of a long drive home on the final day so be prepared for that. It is worth noting that the camel ride and desert stay is quite touristy but besides this it felt like we were the only tourists around. True immersion!
Pros: - Both Mount Toubkal
Pros:
- Both Mount Toubkal and the Sahara are unique places and being there is definitely a memorable experience; especially riding into the Sahara at sunset
- Guides are locals; all of them very friendly & fun
- You get to experience a few remote places in Morocco and get to see how locals live outside of the cities
- All the people in my group were great, which contributed immensely to having a good time
Cons:
- The stay in the Sahara is too short. With only one night spent there you don’t really have time to enjoy it as you arrive in the evening, have dinner and leave very early (6am) the next morning
- The lunch stops on the way to Sahara are in the most touristic places; food is decent but the places don’t look great at all
Overall a good trip, albeit very rushed, but I knew this before booking. You get to see a lot of places during the trip, but don’t have time to fully enjoy any.
unforgettable,
My trip to Morocco to climb Mt Tobuk and sleep in the Saharah with my dear friend was one of the best things I have ever done and I loved every moment of it, even when my feet were killing me and I couldn't walk down the stairs for achy limbs after the walk!!! I was not sure what to expect from a group trip but sooon discovered I was in the best of company and my trip was going to be so much richer for it. I am a fairly fit 53 yr old and found the hike tough and the altitude got to me a little, but the rewards are tenfold, the view and space from the top will stay with me forever, be prepared for a long day and an early start. Our guide was briiliant and paced us perfectly, he was so knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic and hard working looking after us all fantastically. There is quite a lot of miles between the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert, I loved watching the world go by, bus banter and music and stops at various points of interest and having a rest but be aware that best part of two days are spent like this if travel is not your thing. Then the desert...equally amazing, I have always wanted to go, there are a few other tour groups and it was busier than I expected but I still got to experience the vastness, heat and beauty of the place from my camel and the camp was super comfy, glamping style accomadation. Finally Marakesh what a place, ancient, bazars, facinating, leave space in your luggage so many great things to buy and have a Haman Massage too, it was a wonderful way to finish the trip. Thankyou so much for the best ever trip, I will certainly be looking to do another.
What a week
Incredible week with alot packed in from climbing Toubkal to exploring the desert. Definitely recommend to go if you want to experience different cultures and feel a sense of achievement
Awesome trip
Amazing trip, confident and competent guides, lots packed in. Not for faint hearted. You've gotta like hiking and be OK with long bus rides between locations. If you can handle that...then this is for you. Worth adding g a few days on after to see more of Marrachesh or Morocco.
Excellent
Cannot fault anything with this trip. The accommodation was way better than I expected and the guides were excellent. For anyone thinking of doing this in the future I’d say to make sure that you feel you are able to climb the mountain as it was a lot harder than I expected. However, the guides managed to get me to the summit when I thought of giving up. Also just prepare yourself for long drives.
Worth every penny
Amazing adventure loved every bit of it. The climb was tough and we walked all day to sumit and back down again. Loads of stops between the climb and the Sahara to visit local villages and places of interest, the Sahara, the camp and the camels were amazing. Our tour guide was lovely, interesting, kind, thoughtful and kept us going when we felt like giving up.
An efficient journey through the
An efficient journey through the mountains, desert and countryside of Morocco. Excellent value for money.
Toubkal challenge and Berber glamping!
Very comprehensive pre departure info and kit list. Very good local guide. Knowledgeable and experienced. Very encouraging and mountain guides very helpful on long way down from Toubkal. Distances covered in mini bus too great for comfort really and timings on trip not always accurate .

Excellent and varied 1 week trip
I had the best time ever on this trip! It is fully packed and enables you to see a lot of the country. All of the Riads, guest houses and hotels we stayed in were excellent and full of character. The Mt Toubkal climb is a must and I would recommend bringing walking poles, especially for the way down because of scree in places. The trip also enables you to spend enough time exploring Marrakech at either end of the tour. There is a lot of driving on the last day but this is noted in the itinerary and I think the camel ride into the Sahara more than makes up for the travelling time. The Berber camp was more like glamping and exceeded my expectations! Our host Mohammed was very friendly and great and very knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. This can also be said for the other guides on the Mt Toubkal climb. I think there could have been an evening meal included for everyone on the last day but other than this I was very very happy with how the trip was run and what we managed to squeeze into a week :) I would definitely recommend this trip!

2 centre holiday. Long days. Be hill fit to enjoy the climb. Good holiday with a group of old and new friends
Great holiday. In reality 2. The climb which I really enjoyed though the timings were optimistic for a mixed large group. Well supported by the guides who helped those less sure footed. We also arrived at the refuge quite late so supper and sleep also later than most who were there. The trip to the desert involved very long drives (longer than in notes). As such also arrived too late to swim and apart from the camel rides little time to enjoy it vs. the time taken to get there and back. We did know this in advance, I accept . both my wife and I (and others) developed superficial pressure sores from either the camel or the long drives.
This is an excellent trip that highlights the best of Morocco, mountains, desert and Riads. The trek is tough but worth it for the view at the top! And we had a bonus walk through Dades Gorge which was brilliant!
The hike is incredible! Stunning views and a real sense of accomplishment. Take note of the driving hours for the other days though and whether this is something you fancy in the heat
What an experience! I booked this as my first hike at altitude - and what a beautiful mountain to climb! The hike was tough but well paced. The group was amazing fun to spend the week with - I can't imagine a better group to share such an intense experience with. The rest of the trip I was quite unprepared for - it was much hotter than I expected so I would advise people to be prepared for unbearable heat if booking in the summer! Access to cold drinks and air con during the day in the van is limited, so keeping cool can be difficult and risk of heat stroke is high. I think doing intense activity followed by an extreme temperature shift is really difficult on the body, so would maybe advise not booking this in the height of summer like I did unless you know what you're getting yourself in for! Would also recommend to take the kitlist very seriously - hiking poles make the mountain much more enjoyable, and they can be rented for cheap once there. I would highlight bringing personal medications like immodium and electrolytes as gastroenteritis can really take a toll on a trip and having these makes things much more manageable!

This was our first trip with MBA and it exceeded our expectations. The trip was very well organised and there was great communication from the local company. Every day was filled with unique experiences and our guide Ibrahim was very helpful and had great local knowledge. The food and accommodation throughout the trip was to a high standard and the hospitality of the Moroccan people was very welcoming. I definitely recommend getting the quads in the desert!

My 5th trip with MBA and as always, it exceeded expectations. Morocco has always been on my list to travel and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. The riad staff in Marrakech are super helpful, Ibrahim is a fantastic guide and his company are a great company with kitlist reminders, prompt airport transfers and connecting the group via WhatsApp prior to arrival. Summiting Toubkal is challenging but so worth it - we were blessed with a clear morning with the best views

A really well organised trip. The mountain was tough and the scenery was epic - more of an endurance challenge than a holiday, which was exactly what I signed up for. The team I was in were great too, everyone had done training and had the right kit and banter levels were high. This was my first much better adventures trip. Would I do another? Absolutely!

We partner with the World Land Trust to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre program, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity.
What's the number?
It works out on average at 419kg of CO2 emissions per person, including all local transport, accommodation, food, activities, guides, staff and office operations.
The only thing it doesn’t include right now is flights and travel to the destination. We do make an overall estimate across all our customers separately, but as we don’t book flights, have customers from all corners of the world, and no way of reliably knowing their travel plans, we simply can’t include an individual number in the figure on display here. We’ve got a goal to fix that, so that when you book, there is a way to measure and mitigate the carbon emitted by your flight too.
But what does the number mean?
Yep, hard to picture eh? To give you an idea:
- Driving 1000 miles/1609km would be approximately 281kg of CO2 in an average car (or 140.5kg per person, if there were two of you in it).
- A return economy class flight between London and New York would be approximately 1619kg (1.66 tonnes) per person.
- 10 trees in a temperate forest are estimated to remove approximately 250kg of CO2 from the air in a period of 5-10 years.
What are we doing about it?
Our trips are relatively low-carbon by design, and we're working with all our hosts to develop long term carbon reduction plans. We partner with the World Land Trust to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre programme, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity, ensuring the protection of the reserve and its wildlife.
Want to know more?
Amazingly, no international travel company has ever publicly published their carbon measurements before, as far as we know. We believe that must change, quickly. So we’re openly sharing the method we used in the hope that other companies will be able to more easily follow suit and build on what we've done so far. You'll find it all here.
Absolutely! We recognize that you may want to leave some of the gear you bring to Morocco somewhere safe before you start your ascent of Toubkal. When you reach Imlil, you will be able to leave any non-essential items you don’t want to take up on the hike with you at your local guides base there.
Your host works with muleteers who collaborate with local charity, Spana, (The Society for the Protection of Animals and Nature) on the AMI program (Aid to the Mules of Imlil). The charity provides training, guidance and incentives to mule owners to encourage and support good care for their animals in all aspects of their working lives. The program also provides a monthly clinic which offers free veterinary care to the animals and the distribution of humane tack.
Ramadan is expected to take place from February 17 to March 19, 2026. The national holiday of Eid ul-Fitr will follow for 2-3 days. Ramadan is an Islamic festival where the religious do not eat or drink during daylight hours. While this is a really interesting time to travel, especially to witness celebrations where the fast is broken in the evenings, you can expect some business hours will be shortened, alcohol is not permitted during daylight hours, and some restaurants will be closed during this festival period. Activities for local people tend to be limited during the day, and the nights are very active in cities with lots of different foods being sold and consumed. Ramadan will not affect the inclusions on your trip, although you should be aware that dinners will be served after locals break their fast in the evenings.
This trip visits locations at or above 8,000ft, where some people may experience symptoms of Altitude Sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
Previous experience at altitude doesn’t guarantee the same response again – your body can react differently on each trip. However, having been at altitude before is still valuable: it gives you a better understanding of how your body might respond, what symptoms to look out for, and how to manage your pace and energy levels.
Your guide is trained to manage the risk of altitude sickness by controlling the rate of ascent, monitoring group wellbeing, and responding appropriately if anyone feels unwell.
Before booking, we recommend considering your personal health, particularly if you have any pre-existing conditions, and consulting a medical professional if you’re unsure. Arriving early to allow your body to acclimatize can also make a big difference.
Your travel insurance must cover the maximum altitude reached on this trip and include emergency evacuation.
This trip includes locations where temperatures can range from extremely hot to extremely cold during different parts of the itinerary. In some areas, you may face high daytime temperatures, strong sun, and humidity with limited shade. Elsewhere – especially at higher elevations – temperatures may drop below freezing, particularly at night.
These extremes can affect your physical performance and increase the risk of heat-related issues such as dehydration or heat stroke, or cold-related risks like frostbite and hypothermia. Your guide will manage the pace, monitor group well-being, and adjust the plan when needed to keep everyone safe.
We recommend considering how you personally respond to heat and cold, and speaking with a healthcare professional if you have any conditions that could be affected. Packing the right gear for both climates is essential, and arriving early may help your body acclimatize more comfortably – especially if you're coming from a more moderate climate.
Sure can! Over 70% of our travellers travel solo, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people.
Our team of Adventure Hunters co-create exclusive adventures which are run by highly vetted, specialist hosts. The trip is run by our trusted host partner in the destination. You’ll be introduced to the host straight after making a booking via the Much Better Adventures platform.
Much Better Adventures refer to the UK Government’s official travel advice when designing trips and monitoring trip operations. We recommend that all customers review the practical information available on the UK Government’s FCDO website, where you can find up-to-date advice by searching for your destination(s).
If you are based in the United States, you can also check the latest travel advisories from the U.S. Department of State.
For customers joining from other international locations, we recommend checking the official travel advice issued by your country of residence, as guidance may vary.
We recommend checking out the country-specific information and also talking to a travel nurse.
We automatically convert prices from the local currency that a host receives to your chosen currency. We update our exchange rates daily, so prices displayed on the site are subject to currency fluctuations, which is why you may see them change over time.
If you wish to change the currency you pay in, head to the bottom of the page.
