What do we say?
Saddle Skedaddle have a reputation that precedes them. Quite simply one of the UK's best cycle operators, and we are delighted to have them on the site. They have an incredible range of cycling trips and bike tours that really do mean there is something for everyone. Their personal approach and strong commitment to responsible travel is there for all to see too, so you can be sure to soak up the local flavour and be putting back into the places you visit. Enjoy!

We have already integrated sustainable practices into most areas of operation but still plan to go further
Our Future Action Plan
- Reduced our brochure size to A5 from A4 and continue to encourage more people to opt for the downloadable e-brochures. We aim to reduce the number of brochures produced by increased management of our database, with a view to not producing a brochure in 20
- Through our My Skedaddle area of our website, (launching Oct 2011) we are introducing an online forum to encourage people to interact relating to travel arrangements / lift shares to airports / weekends. We wish to increase this to 20% of those travelling
- We plan to increase the percentage of our clients travelling to/from our holidays by train from 5% to 15%
- Although situated in a managed council building we are working to encourage Greener Energy sources within the Skedaddle building
- We aim to source more Fairtrade produce on all our UK weekends, expanding from the basic tea, coffee and sugar to snack bars and other goods. Our aim would be to have 20% of our produce being Fairtrade goods
- We have introduced more trips on the National Cycle Network and continue to contribute 5p for each Skedaddle Mile on these trails. We aim to increase our contribution by 20% in 2011
- We have expanded our customer ‘opt in’ contirbution to Sustrans to all our trip and aim to double the contribution overall by Skedaddle customers in 2011.
