It’s a glimpse into Georgia’s rural past and a chance to experience the raw, untamed side of the Caucasus. After a picnic lunch, return to the hotel where you can take a dip in the pool, sweat it out in the sauna, or grab a drink on the terrace. This evening, dine in style at the hotel’s restaurant or head into town for another dose of local hospitality.

On the way, stop to explore Ananuri Fortress, a clifftop stronghold with fairytale towers and sweeping views over the Aragvi River. Then it’s into the heart of Kakheti for a leisurely lunch and wine tasting at a local vineyard, where you’ll try Georgian wine made using the qvevri method – buried clay vessels to ferment and store wine naturally. In the afternoon, stroll through sun-drenched vines from Mosmieri to Kondoli Winery, where you’ll dive deeper into Georgia’s 8,000-year-old winemaking heritage. Then, check into your Standout Stay of the trip, Qvevrebi Hotel – a boutique wine retreat, where each room is shaped like a giant qvevri clay vessel. Clever, cozy and set among the vineyards, it’s the perfect spot to toast the sunset and wind down for the night.

Roll into Kvareli in time for a home-cooked lunch with a welcoming local family. Try your hand at making churchkhela, a grape and nut sweet that’s a Georgian favorite, and settle in for a delicious feast led by a tamada (toastmaster) who will share heartfelt toasts and stories. Later, return to the iconic Qvevrebi Hotel for a second unique night among the vines. Unwind with a spa session, dip in the pool or tuck into an optional à la carte dinner, the perfect full stop to another brilliant day in Georgia’s wine country.

At midday, you’ll be welcomed into a local family’s home for an authentic farm-to-table lunch, prepared with seasonal ingredients from their land and served with homemade Georgian wine. Transfers

Free airport transfers are provided on Day 1, no matter what time you land. However, we recommend arriving by 2:00 PM if you’d like to join the introductory guided walk through Tbilisi’s charming Old Town in the afternoon. If your flight arrives early in the morning, please note that hotel check-in is usually available from 2:00 PM onwards. You’ll be able to store your luggage at the hotel while you explore or relax in the meantime. If you’d prefer to check in earlier, your local host can help arrange early check-in for an additional fee, just let them know in advance. A free transfer back to Tbilisi International Airport is also included on Day 8. As transfers are arranged individually to suit your flight time, you can depart at any point during the day. If your flight is later in the afternoon or evening, feel free to enjoy a relaxed final morning in the city before heading to the airport.

Travel options

Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) is increasingly well-connected, with new direct flight options making travel smoother than ever. From the US, British Airways now offers non-stop flights from London Heathrow four times a week beginning in March 2025, while easyJet operates a twice-weekly service from London Luton starting in April 2025. Across the rest of Europe, there are direct connections from several major cities.

Travelers from the United States and Canada can reach Tbilisi via convenient one-stop connections through major international hubs such as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Istanbul, Doha, and Vienna. Airlines like British Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Air France operate these connecting routes, making the journey to Georgia straightforward and flexible.

Tbilisi International Airport is located just 11 miles from the city center, typically a 25–30 minute drive. Free private transfers are included on both Day 1 and Day 8 of your trip.

Trip level explained

Level 1

Easy

This trip is for those with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors, combining activities (you’ll be on the move for around 2-4 hours each day) with plenty of chances to rest and refuel. If you don’t exercise regularly, we recommend some light training beforehand to ensure you get the most out of the experience.

While hiking in the Caucasus Mountains, you’ll follow a mix of paved tracks, mountain trails and dirt roads. Some sections are rolling and include short, steep ascents that will get your heart pumping, but the pace is leisurely, with plenty of stops to take in the views.

The e-bike ride will be along hilly, paved roads but the e-bikes provide motor assistance to help with the inclines. No prior experience is required, though you should feel comfortable riding a bike.

There’s also a gentle horse ride suitable for beginners who have not ridden before. The horse handlers and your guide will be with you throughout to support and assist you.

What if i need to skip an activity?

Any of the activities can be skipped, please speak to your guide locally if you wish to opt out of any of the included excursions.

What will I need to carry?

You will only need to carry a day pack with personal items such as food, water, and extra layers during any of the activities. A vehicle will be with you for the duration of the trip, so any excess luggage or things not needed for the activity can be left at the hotels where you stay overnight.

Remote environment: factors to consider

Some parts of this trip take place in areas where access to medical facilities and emergency services may be limited. This may mean that reaching medical care takes longer than you might normally expect, or that local medical facilities have fewer resources than those you may be used to at home.

If someone becomes unwell or injured, initial treatment may be provided locally before onward travel to a larger hospital or city for further care. Evacuation could involve changing the planned route or using different forms of transportation to reach appropriate medical facilities. Mobile phone coverage may also be intermittent in some locations.

Your guide is trained to manage situations in remote environments and will monitor the group and respond appropriately if any issues arise. However, it’s important that you let your guide know straight away if you feel unwell or experience any health concerns during the trip.

Before booking, consider your personal health and ability to travel in locations where access to medical care may be delayed. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, we recommend seeking advice from a medical professional and discussing them with your host before traveling.

All travelers must have suitable travel insurance that covers the activities included in the trip and emergency medical evacuation if required.

This was my first MBA trip, and it did not disappoint! Our trip to Georgia was just short of perfect. Georgia is an absolutely beautiful country, and I felt like I was able to experience so much in such a short amount of time. The itinerary was the perfect balance of challenging hiking days and more relaxed days that were still filled with adventure, sightseeing, and fun. Every day offered something unique, and I never felt like we were rushing or missing out. Neka was an incredible guide. He was so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience, and I would absolutely travel with them again!

This trip was really well designed and our guide Konstantin was super knowledgeable, interesting and genuine. Every day was different and the variety of both activities and scenery was immense, with Konstantin explaining the plans for the next day each evening. All the hikes were very manageable and well planned. I particularly loved the horseriding at Juta and the wine tasting. I wished we’d had a few extra days in Tbilisi at the end of the trip as it’s such a vibrant city, so that’s my advice to others booking!

Overall, I think this was a great trip and I greatly enjoyed my time! First let's start with the positives. The food was fantastic and I really enjoyed the fact that many meals were done with families and were home-cooked. We really got a great feel for the traditional cuisine and it was really refreshing to have a lack of focus on restaurants. Additionally, the hotels were also incredibly nice and were exactly what I expected from a premium trip. I also think that Georgia itself was stunningly beautiful and I enjoyed my time in the mountains, the views, and also the city walks and learning about the history. I also appreciated that there was a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Kote was also a fantastic guide, and I greatly appreciate his depth of knowledge, his willingness to answer questions in depth, and his passion for Georgian history and culture. Overall it was a great trip that I would definitely recommend. I removed one star because I think there's a few things that could be improved. I know this is a new itinerary and thus I expected there to be some things that could be improved, so I want to voice those for future tours. I know this was listed as a level 1 tour in terms of activity, but it felt like less than that. The hikes were easier than expected, and I think they could be elongated, or even including more of them, like a second hike some of the days, and this could still easily be a level 1 tour. Secondly, the biking felt more like the creators of the itinerary were looking for a way to include biking, as opposed to seeing a great opportunity for biking and adding it. The route was mostly on main roads, and it was clear that other people who have less experience with that were quite uncomfortable. It also made it more difficult to appreciate the surrounding views when I was mostly staying vigilant for cars. Additionally, the hike after the wine-tasting felt more like walking from place to place because they needed to add another "hike" as opposed to an actual hike with a purpose. That all being said, I really enjoyed my trip and I would recommend this to anyone!

  • Amazing adventure

    Paul O. July 2026
The Georgia trip was absolutely fantastic. The itinerary, activities and accommodation were really well chosen and the week had a lovely pace to it. Keti was an AMAZING guide, full of interesting commentary about Georgia and happy to answer any questions. The group were great fun too. The hotels were lovely, most days had several hours of activity but also downtime at the accommodation so it was nice to have pools and pretty luxe surroundings to enjoy. The scenery, hospitality and food were fantastic. My only suggestion would be smaller roads for the eBiking. A great trip. 100% recommended.
  • Georgia is a fascinating country

    Jessamine B. July 2026
Georgia is a fascinating country and this trip gave a great introduction to it. The surprising highlight for me was the horseriding through Juta valley but all of the activities were really fun. It's definitely a level 1 trip as nothing felt too strenuous. There's also lots of down time where you can chill at the lovely hotels. Our guide, Kote, was fantastic. Overall, the trip is a great mix of city, mountains, countryside and wine. I'd recommend it.
  • Great trip

    Stephanie B. June 2026
This is a great trip that gives a good flavour of Georgia. Loved hearing the many stories and background about Georgia from our lovely guide, Kote. The accommodation was very good, and the mountain scenery was seriously impressive! However, there are discrepancies between the itinerary on the website and the experience, with there being quite a lot less hiking than advertised. The 14km hike is, in reality, about half that, and the two-hour hike on day 7 is a stroll through a town and market. It was still an enjoyable trip, but not really what I'd signed up for, hence the 4 star rating.
  • Wonderful trip overall! (with a few caveats)

    Anna L. June 2026
Overall, I really enjoyed my trip to Georgia!! However, there were a few caveats that made me reduce the rating to 3 stars, which I discuss here. The good: - The time spent in each location was appropriate, and gave enough time to really enjoy each area before moving on. - I liked how varied the activities were - from e-biking, to horseback riding, to hiking, each day had something new. - The accommodations were just wonderful! For a premium adventure, they definitely hit the mark! - Our guide, Kote, was overall great and I really appreciated how much knowledge and information he shared about Georgia. - Many of our meals were in the homes of local Georgian families, which was incredible! The hospitality and food both were outstanding. I was moved by how kind everyone was. Very authentic experiences at the included meals. Why I've given three stars: There are two major reasons I rated this trip three stars, with one star reduction for each issue. I would qualify both of these issues as "major issues," but just for me and my experience personally!! 1) This is a level one trip. As this is my first trip with MBA, I can only compare with the written description of level 1 trips on the MBA website, and based on that description, I thought there would be more activity than what we ended up doing. In addition, the length of the activities was substantially different than what is included in the itinerary description for this trip on the MBA website. More specifically, there is a 14km hike listed for day 3 of the trip in the Truso valley, which I was really looking forward to, but it actually only ended up being around 6km. Less than half of what was originally listed, which was really disappointing. Given that I already felt like the activity was light on the trip, it really impacted my enjoyment that then the one longer activity we were supposed to do was shortened to that extent. 2) I would have liked a little bit more communication on the itinerary for each day. I was on my phone multiple times a day checking the itinerary on the MBA website to see what was the plan. I think that a text message in the Whatsapp chat each morning or the evening of the previous day listing out the general itinerary for the day would be really helpful. Ultimately, I really enjoyed the trip, and loved the opportunity to explore and learn more about Georgia!

Everything was perfect. Great itinerary which really showed us the best of Georgia. Our guide Kote was incredible. So many standout moments, from the beautiful hotels to the hikes and horseback riding
  • Georgian Trip

    Samuel M. June 2026
This was my first MBA trip and I was certainly impressed. Our guide Kote was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout. He kept spirits high and created some lovely intimate moments. All the days were well planned and timed - always a good mix of education and fun activities. However I would say the bike ride was not as I imagined. I thought we would be moving through tracks and trails between vineyards - but we spent the majority of the time on roads. Truthfully we were travelling through the wine country and the bikes were great. Most importantly the locations we visited on the bikes were truly amazing, so it was certainly worth it even if it was not what I had expected. Kote and the team kept everyone very safe - so I would say it's appropriate for less experienced cyclists. Though hard to choose, my favourite day was possibly Juta - the horses were great and scenery amazing. If you're brave you can take a dip in the glacial lake below the mountain. We capped it off with a trip to Dariali Monastery which served some incredible Georgian food (ask for the monastery beer - not on menu). On the tour you have experiences which would just not be possible without the local connections. Not to mention Kote's historical knowledge gave flavour and context that lifted every location to greater heights. All in all, a brilliant trip that I'd certainly recommend. Georgia is a country I've grown to love over my two trips. Few cultures express intense martial and artistic character at once - Georgia is the rare case of one that does. Prepare for many a toast!
  • Fantastic trip! Enjoyed Georgia alot.

  • Amazing Trip

    Jamie M. June 2026
Georgia quickly became one of my favourite countries after this trip. The food was amazing, the scenery was amazing, and the rain stayed away for the whole week. Our Guide, Kote, was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the country and had an answer for everything. For the trip as a whole, I would say had the perfect amount of activity each day, nothing too strenuous. It's hard to pick a highlight, because the whole trip was amazing.
  • Georgia - a cultural and scenic jewel

    John M. June 2026
An superbly well organised tour that was full of diversity, fun and activity. Kote was really key to maxing out our experience. It was clear that not only did he love his country but enjoyed every minute of his show and tell tour. If encouraged he would dig deep into his vast knowledge of every aspect of its culture and history without remotely being a bore. The daily activities were sufficient to work up a decent appetite whilst also leaving enough time to enjoy the deluxe hotel facilities. A great balance of adventure and relaxed comfort and fine cuisine. Top tip: Do check out the Dariali Monastery for an amazing feast when staying at Kazbegi!
  • A memorable and spectacular week in Georgia!

    Sarah B. June 2026
What a great first MBA tour of Georgia with great group dynamics. Kone was a great host, leading us from Tbilisi to the spectacular mountains for 3 nights then into the vinelands for 2 nights before heading back to the capital for a spa and scrub, giving us information about the country as we went! We ate like kings (lots of walnuts and aubergine, trout and bread stuffed with beans or cheese) and tasted the local wine including the amber wine made in the qvevari. It is definitely a level 1 trip as although there were activities everyday, there was time to relax. The trip was as I had hoped.
  • Mountains, Vineyards, and Georgian Hospitality

    Satyajit N. June 2026
We had a fantastic time on this trip to Georgia. One of the things we appreciated most was how the itinerary kept surprising us. Just when we thought we knew what the next day would bring, there was a new activity, a different landscape, or a unique local experience waiting for us. Our guide Konstantin(Kote) was knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating throughout the trip. More importantly, he was genuinely proud of his country, and that enthusiasm was contagious. It made learning about Georgia's history, culture, and traditions much more meaningful. The group was great as well. Everyone was open-minded, easygoing, and interested in the experience, which made for a lot of fun conversations and shared memories along the way. Over the course of the trip, we hiked, biked, rode horses, explored beautiful mountain regions, and spent time with local families. Some of our favorite moments were the meals in people's homes. Georgians are wonderful hosts and have a remarkable ability to make visitors feel welcome. The accommodations were another pleasant surprise. Each place seemed carefully chosen and had its own character. Some overlooked stunning mountain scenery, while others were surrounded by vineyards. After a long day on the trail, having the option to swim, relax in a sauna, or get a massage was something we came to appreciate very quickly. The wine experiences were a highlight. Georgia's winemaking traditions run deep, and tasting wines with local hosts while hearing their stories made the experience feel authentic rather than something designed just for tourists. Those occasions, sharing food, wine, and conversation, were truly the icing on the cake. Looking back, what made this trip special wasn't any single activity. It was the combination of adventure, hospitality, good company, beautiful scenery, and genuine cultural experiences. We came home with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Georgia and its people, and a strong desire to return someday.
  • Wonderful vacation

  • Sad to wake up from my Georgia dream. . .

    Christina W. June 2026
I had no expectations going into this trip because I signed up on a whim a year before the travel date. I'm still trying to find the right words to describe Georgia and its people. . . just mind blowing. This experience was an amazingly well-curated "Georgia 101" trip for an MBA beginner like myself. The pacing and mix of active and leisure times were just right for me. Group dynamics cannot be controlled but I didn't expect to be with such affable, kind, warm people! I'll be thinking about this trip for a while. . .

FAQs

Should external factors (such as severe weather conditions) cause alterations to what is possible, then the ordering of the above itinerary, activity inclusions and durations and/or the exact number of days spent in each location may have to change. The local host will endeavor to ensure that any replacement activities are of a similar style.

You'll be accompanied by one qualified, English-speaking local guide throughout the trip (up to 12 people per group). During the e-bike ride, a support vehicle will follow to provide assistance or give you the option to cut the ride short if needed.

Tap water in Georgia is not safe to drink, so please avoid refilling bottles directly from the tap. Some accommodations provide purified water each morning, so it’s a good idea to bring one or two reusable water bottles. To reduce plastic waste where filtered water isn’t available, we recommend bringing water purification tablets or a personal purification system. Whenever possible, your host will also supply filtered water tanks during transfers or before activities.

You'll be riding a specialized Turbo Levo Alloy, a high-quality, battery-assisted e-bike designed to make pedaling easier, particularly on hills. The routes follow winding, paved roads, but the e-bike's motor offers a helpful boost when needed. No prior e-bike experience is necessary, though you should be comfortable cycling on roads.

At Much Better Adventures, we work hard to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies so your trip is safe, inclusive, and enjoyable. That said, options can vary by country, location, and lodging, and in some places, options may be limited or unavailable. The information below has been provided by your host so you’re fully informed about what will be possible on your trip depending on your individual requirements. This information should be read carefully before your trip to ensure that you are adequately prepared for the situation ‘on the ground’.

Once you have booked your trip, please fill out your passenger information form ASAP with any dietary requirements. Once you complete your passenger information, your dietary needs and any allergies are automatically shared with your host and, in turn, your guide. BACKGROUND

Georgian cuisine is deeply shaped by the country’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, where centuries of trade and a fertile agricultural landscape have produced a rich and distinctive food culture. Meals are generous and communal, typically featuring bread, cheese, walnut-based sauces, grilled meats, beans, and seasonal vegetables, with wine playing a central cultural role. Vegetarian and vegan diets can be very well accommodated, with a wide variety of plant-based dishes available throughout the country. Travelers with less common dietary requirements should expect more limited awareness outside cities and tourist areas, though guides can help communicate needs to local hosts.

SPECIAL DIETS Vegetarian -Vegetarian diets can be catered for on this trip, provided that your host is made aware in advance. While many traditional Georgian dishes are often centered around meat, vegetarian requirements can generally be accommodated and there is still a wide variety of suitable and flavorful options available.

Georgian cuisine offers a rich selection of naturally vegetarian dishes, including Lobio (slow-cooked beans with herbs and spices), Badrijani Nigvzit (eggplant with walnut paste), fresh seasonal salads, cheese varieties, baked breads, and an assortment of vegetable dishes prepared with walnuts, garlic, and aromatic herbs. Many dishes are either vegetarian by nature or can be adapted upon request.

Restaurants are happy to make adjustments where possible to suit dietary needs. However, in more rural areas, vegetarian choices may be more limited, and menus can be simpler or less varied compared to larger cities. Packed lunches are carefully prepared in advance and can be arranged to suit vegetarian preferences if requested. They typically include a selection of fresh, locally sourced items such as bread, cheese, vegetables, fruit, and other simple, nourishing components, ensuring convenient and satisfying options.

Vegan -Vegan diets are difficult to cater for on this trip. While your host will do their best to meet these requirements, please be aware that the required produce and ingredients are not abundant in this destination and you may find the food provided repetitive.

Georgian cuisine does include some naturally plant-based elements such as vegetables, beans, fresh salads, bread, and walnut-based preparations. However, the frequent use of cheese, butter, and other dairy products in traditional cooking means that suitable alternatives are limited and often require careful adaptation.

Restaurants may be able to make adjustments where possible, but vegan-friendly options are not widely established and can be particularly limited outside larger cities. In rural areas, meal choices tend to be simpler, with less variety and fewer reliable plant-based protein sources. Packed lunches are prepared in advance and can be arranged with vegan requirements when clearly advised. They typically include basic items such as bread, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and other simple provisions, though variety and balance may be more limited compared to other dietary preferences.

Please do consider bringing your favorite snacks or food supplements from home to ensure that you always have enough fuel for your adventure.

Kosher -Fully certified Kosher kitchens and supervision are rare and usually cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in advance by your host. Vegetarian or vegan options can often be the most reliable alternative if this is acceptable to you. Please read the related sections above.

Halal -Certified Halal supply varies by destination and may not always be possible. Vegetarian or vegan options can often be the most reliable alternative if this is acceptable to you. Please read the related sections above.

INTOLERANCES

Gluten Free -Gluten-free diets are difficult to cater for on this trip. While your host will do their best to meet these requirements, please be aware that the required produce and ingredients are not abundant in this destination, and you may find the food provided repetitive.

Georgian cuisine includes a number of naturally gluten-free dishes such as grilled meats, vegetable stews, fresh salads, beans, cheese, and walnut-based dishes. However, bread and wheat-based products are a staple of the local diet and cross-contamination may be difficult to fully avoid due to shared kitchen environments.

Restaurants and hosts are usually able to adapt meals where possible, especially in larger towns and cities. In more rural areas, choices may be simpler and less varied, but suitable alternatives can still be provided with advance notice. Packed lunches can also be prepared with gluten-free requirements when clearly communicated in advance, typically including items such as fruit, vegetables, cheese, nuts, and other naturally gluten-free components.

Please do consider bringing your favorite snacks or food supplements from home to ensure that you always have enough fuel for your adventure.

Lactose Free -Lactose-free diets can be catered for on this trip, provided that your host is made aware in advance. Georgian cuisine includes several naturally lactose-free dishes such as grilled meats, vegetable stews, fresh salads, beans, bread (unless buttered), and walnut-based preparations. However, dairy products such as cheese, butter, and sour cream are widely used in traditional cooking, so care is needed when selecting suitable dishes.

Restaurants and hosts are usually able to adapt meals where possible, particularly in larger towns and cities. In more rural areas, lactose-free choices may be more limited and menus can be simpler, but suitable options can still be arranged with advance notice.

Packed lunches can also be prepared with lactose-free requirements when clearly communicated in advance, typically including items such as fruit, vegetables, nuts, bread, and other naturally lactose-free components.

ALLERGIES

Our host has confirmed that they are able to accommodate mild allergies to the 14 allergens identified by the UK Food Standards Agency, where these are disclosed in advance. However, if you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, please get in touch with our Customer Experience team before booking to discuss whether your requirements can be accommodated safely on this trip. This will allow us to carefully consider the sensitivity and severity of your allergy, the available provision on the trip, and the accessibility of medical care should a reaction occur. Your safety is always our top priority.

Please note that when traveling overseas, local ingredients, food preparation methods, and labeling standards may vary, particularly in remote areas. It is also worth noting that any allergies may result in more limited options and repetitive provision in some areas. While your guide will help communicate dietary requirements where possible, customers remain responsible for managing their own allergies during the trip.

Add any specific limitations or important details here: Walnuts and other nuts are commonly used ingredients in Georgian cuisine, particularly in traditional dishes, sauces, and pastes, and are an important part of the local food culture. Allergies involving nuts can therefore be accommodated where clearly communicated in advance, and alternative options will be considered where possible.

The wine tasting experiences on this trip are a great insight into Georgian history and culture, the people who make it and the traditions they follow. Whether or not you actually taste the wine offered is entirely up to you, there are soft drink alternatives if you'd prefer, and snacks or more substantial food are typically offered at the same time.

Average summer temperatures in Georgia typically range from 77–95°F in the lower valleys. However, it’s noticeably cooler on the plateaus and high in the mountains, especially when exposed to wind. Mountain weather is famously unpredictable, so it’s essential to pack wet weather gear and layers to adjust your temperature as needed. Dry, sunny days are common (sun protection is important), and while rain is rare at this time of year, it can still occur.

We partner with the World Land Trust to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre program, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity.

What's the number?
It works out on average at 341kg of CO2 emissions per person, including all local transport, accommodation, food, activities, guides, staff and office operations.

The only thing it doesn’t include right now is flights and travel to the destination. We do make an overall estimate across all our customers separately, but as we don’t book flights, have customers from all corners of the world, and no way of reliably knowing their travel plans, we simply can’t include an individual number in the figure on display here. We’ve got a goal to fix that, so that when you book, there is a way to measure and mitigate the carbon emitted by your flight too.

But what does the number mean?
Yep, hard to picture eh? To give you an idea:

  • Driving 1000 miles/1609km would be approximately 281kg of CO2 in an average car (or 140.5kg per person, if there were two of you in it).
  • A return economy class flight between London and New York would be approximately 1619kg (1.66 tonnes) per person.
  • 10 trees in a temperate forest are estimated to remove approximately 250kg of CO2 from the air in a period of 5-10 years.

What are we doing about it?
Our trips are relatively low-carbon by design, and we're working with all our hosts to develop long term carbon reduction plans. We partner with the World Land Trust to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre programme, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity, ensuring the protection of the reserve and its wildlife.

Want to know more?
Amazingly, no international travel company has ever publicly published their carbon measurements before, as far as we know. We believe that must change, quickly. So we’re openly sharing the method we used in the hope that other companies will be able to more easily follow suit and build on what we've done so far. You'll find it all here.
