If you’re having doubts - book this trip! A truly amazing time from start to finish. It is go, go, go so, as some other reviews have said, don’t book if you want a relax. You see such a varied section of the country from city to mountains to desert. Breakfast after climbing sand dune 45 was especially great. Mr Happy and Gabriel, our chef and guide, absolutely made the trip. They worked not stop and were always happy and knowledgeable. We were a group of 9 people and we had so many laughs. You will come away in love with Namibia.

The sand dune landscapes are captivating – especially during the morning sunrises. The diverse wildlife, scenic campsites and expertly narrated hikes were all magnificent 👌

Seeing the 4000 year old rock art was an amazing surprise. It felt a real privilege to get close up to these ancient paintings – a highlight of the trip for me.

Guides Sam and Jonas were both brilliant, with Jonas cooking some truely scrumptious evening meals.

Like all the best trips, this is full-on - expect to be active from the moment you land to the moment you leave, with early starts and late night ramblings round the camp fire. Get booking!

Namibia is a country full of surprises, contrasts, resources and challenges. Our group was fantastic fun, our leader, Samora, was just the right mix of humour and authoritarian to get us up and packed in the early mornings for sunrise. He taught us about the amazing geology, Namibia's history, the plant life, the animals and was so proud of his country. We were so well fed each day by the wonderful Jonas. The terrain is often very challenging, the heat is tiring and the itinerary is different every day and every moment is precious. I feel so blessed to have been to some places few will visit. If you want a trip that is completely unique and out of your normal comfort zone, don't hesitate - it's worth every penny.

The trip was great, more varied and more spectacular than expected in terms of landscapes, wildlife and activities. The guides were knowledgeable, patient and good company. The days were packed with things to do, and we hardly wasted a minute. No complaints

This trip was amazing, we saw so many beautiful places in Namibia. Samore is a brilliant guide, with good sense of humour and supportive (especially during the fixed chain bit, when I was personally afraid). Jonas is also great, so kind and excellent cook! He cooked us fabulous dinner, better than many restaurants! I highly recommend thus trip! 👌

This trip covered all the must-sees in Namibia, including some great wildlife viewing in Etosha and the picturesque Sossusvlei/Deadvlei, not to mention all the pretty sites in between. Several of the campsites had gorgeous views, and some of them had better facilities than we expected. Even outside Etosha, our guide was great about spotting and pointing out wildlife on the drives. We felt the trip was operated at an appropriate, albeit jam-packed pace, but we never felt overly rushed and felt we had enough time to properly enjoy everything there was to see!

Wow - what an incredible trip! I had the most amazing time exploring Namibia with our hosts, Sam and Jonas, who were so brilliant - their local knowledge and friendliness, absolutely made the trip! I had a few highlights, including the hike through Namib-Naukluft national park, Safari through Etosha and all of our sunrise and sunset walks. The food Jonas cooked was absolutely delcious and he always made me a special vegetarian addition too! We managed to do so much and see so much over just 10 days - couldn't recommend this trip more!

This trip was superb! It was the start of our honeymoon and a brilliant adventure. We camped in incredible camp sites with superb stargazing. The scenery during the walks were brilliant and the safari was superb. The 2 guides Omumborombonga and Tuhafeni were so helpful, friendly and knew so much. The vehicle was comfortable and brilliant for the safari. Food on the camp fire was delicious. We had a brilliant group. Highly recommend the trip and visiting Namibia.

Don't just think about this trip, book it! An adventure of a lifetime. The scenery is fantastic, and such contrasts, all in one day! I absolutely loved our camp in Etosha, right at a waterhole. This was one of the best experiences to watch giraffes, elephants, black Rhino, and lions drinking in front of us. Our guide Samora had eagle eyes and spotted a variety of wildlife, the most incredible spot was the Leopard! He had not seen one in years and it walked right to the water hole on our game drive, along with a Rhino, giraffe and a heard of elephants!! Samora and Tuhafeni were the dream team on tour. Always there to help, and make our holiday a memorable adventure in Namibia.Tuhafeni cooked up some very tasty meals, some of the salads were fantastic. You won't lose weight with all the hiking 🤣 Most of the camp sites are very scenic, and great locations. We loved them. The tents are easy to put up and I could stand up in our tent. I'd highly recommend doing the Sandwich Harbour excursion, it was one of the many highlights on this trip. Dune 45 and Deadvlei were also one of my highlights. Be prepared, for early starts, it's the only way to see wildlife, beautiful sunrises and over the dunes. The chain bridge is daunting, however Samora got us across and knew how to help those of us that needed that extra help, like me. I'd highly recommend this trip. I loved it so much I'd go again ! Thank you for a memorable adventure.

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Namibia is out of this world! Every destination and activity truly felt like a bucket list experience. Omumborombonga (Sam) and Tuhafeni were amazing. The food was incredible- bananas foster on the braai was a highlight. Both were knowledgeable and so much fun! Our group dynamic was incredible and we elected to stick together as a group for all of the optional activities we got on so well. Our game drive days will be impossible to top; mating lions, a leopard, and waterholes with dozens of elephants, giraffe, and rhino at the same time! We watched the baby elephants play in the mud and had so many once in a lifetime experiences in only nine days! I already want to go back!

This was a very enjoyable trip, covering an unexpected variety of scenery and activities. Our guide Omumborombonga (AKA Samora) and assistant Tuhafeni went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. It is clear that they are both very proud of their country & history and were keen to demonstrate it. Every day seemed to be a step up in impressiveness of what we saw and experienced. Due to the distances covered and the scheduled activities it meant quick packdowns each morning and perhaps a little less ‘free time’ than I’ve experienced on other trips. This isn’t a criticism though – I wanted to experience as much as possible and once the group understood the routine we became pretty adept at rapid turnround.

With this being a camping trip and also spending a fair amount of time in the truck, it meant that the group quickly gelled. Our guides said that it was like we turned up already knowing each other. A willingness to get involved and contribute to the group experience is definitely part of this. The range and quality of food served at the camps was excellent and a pleasant surprise each evening. There are also opportunities to visit local restaurants which were also very good.

I was expecting to see some impressive wildlife due to the reputation of Etosha (and it definitely delivered), but one particular highlight was the simultaneous arrival of Giraffe, Rhino, Leopard and a herd of Elephant at a waterhole that we would have missed if not for deciding to stay for five minutes longer. What I wasn’t quite so prepared for was the range and diversity of scenery around the country – the famous Red Dunes at Sossusvlei, the salt pan at Deadvlei, the rock formations of Spitzkoppe, the coastal atmosphere at Swakopmund, and the hypnotic stars visible most nights. There were also vast expanses of desert between these locations – something that became immediately apparent looking down from the flight from Johannesburg on Day 1. Make sure you bring plenty of memory cards for the photos.

There are various activities to do at Swakopmund, but I believe most opt for the scenic flight. As it turned out it was fully booked while we were there, but the Sandwich Bay Harbour tour is a great alternative. Although it sounds sedate, we were treated to a 4x4 dash along the beach seeing wildlife along the way before it turned into a rollercoaster ride across the dunes, stopping for canapes and wine mid-way.

Thoroughly recommended trip.

Just got back. Overall a fantastic trip. Namibia is a spectacular country and missing it already. A huge amount fitted into the 11 days. Lots of early mornings and the guides expect guests to erect and dismantle the tents, and load truck etc which does help the group to bond. Camp food was excellent and accommodated the vegetarians in the group. The nights and early mornings get pretty cold so layers and sleeping bag liner are essential. Our guide and assistant were excellent - very knowledgeable and engaging and great fun. Wildlife was amazing but take binoculars if you can. Walks are moderate to challenging and a reasonable level of fitness is required. Did the horse riding in Swakopund which was a gentle walk and highly recommended. Unfortunately due to sand storm our flight and dolphin trip were cancelled. Overall a very special adventure.

Well, what can I say. I decided to book this trip as it was my 3 loves: hiking, star gazing and animals. It did not disappoint.

Firstly, Namibia is beautiful and the terrain is insane. Words cannot describe what a beautiful country it is.

Secondly, if you’re looking for a relaxed holiday this is not for you. It’s non-stop but hey, what an adventure. From the sand dunes in the south to the animals in the north. I also booked the small flight along the Skelton coast and I’m so glad I did.

Thirdly, the guides Samora and Jonas make this trip. Their knowledge, expertise and experience made this such a memorable trip. They are fantastic.

Fourthly, the group. Met a bunch of strangers, and made great friendships. I was a little nervous thinking that I was going to be the eldest one there but age is just a number and the group were just amazing. Cannot wait to join them for more adventures.

This is a great trip for those new to Southern Africa or looking to go a bit further afield. Discovery of the diversity of Namibia - sand dunes, canyons, fabulous night skies, the Skeleton coast and safari - at pace but without feeling rushed. Big shout out to local hosts Samora and Jonas who were incredible. Great food, good vehicle, quality tents. Take the optional sightseeing flight if you can. Honestly, not a bad word to say about this trip.

An incredible trip. Sam and Jonas were brilliant hosts. Their wealth of knowledge, their planning, and the food they cooked were all fantastic. I couldn't recommend it enough. I feel like I've been away for a month not a week and a half! Every sunrise and sunset was stunning, and we saw the Milky Way almost every night. As a side note, in June, the temperature drops sharply in the evening, so pack more long sleeves than T-shirts.

The trip to Namibia really exceeded my expectations and from day one it was all go at a fast pace. We got up early to take tents down and crack on with the days activities and we’re rewarded with a bit of downtime in the afternoon. Sam looked after us really well and prepared a mountain of food for us each day. My trip highlights were climbing the sand dunes and the incredible viewing of animals on the game drives and at the watering hole. If you’re not sure about the trip just go for it - you really won’t regret it. The last days camp was a change from the itinerary to avoid a bike convention but we all loved it.

Wow! What a fantastic trip. Sam our guide was super helpful, approachable and knowledgeable (he also cooks some very tasty food!). He shared so much with us about the local wildlife, culture and history of the places we visited. Each day was jam packed with activities and awe inspiring views but the itinerary is carefully planned with a sprinkling of down time. If you’re looking to get outside and explore Namibia’s stunning nature and landscapes, I’d highly recommend this trip!

A superb trip all round that encompassed diverse landscapes and animals galore. The local guide Sam was most excellent with knowledge and skills aplenty. Namibia as a country has a lot to offer and is almost untouched in many ways, the vast wild areas are incredible. Worth a mention is water from the tap is fine to drink, the roads are good (tarmac and gravel), driving standards are good and roads quiet. To summarise, a well organised trip with a great local guide. Amazing scenery, animals and experiences. The group I was with were a great bunch and only added to the trip. An amazing tour round a stunning country - Namibia is full of incredible panoramas, vast empty landscapes, and a great variety of wildlife. Climbing up and running down the sand dunes was exhilarating, and seeing a pride of lions terrorise a waterhole full of zebras and wildebeest was unforgettable. There aren’t many challenging hikes but you need a reasonable level of fitness and energy to keep up with the itinerary! Lots of early starts and some action-packed days. Sam is brilliant, he keeps everything running like clockwork while being very engaging, informative, and a great cook :) would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who loves being outdoors in nature. In early May it was fairly warm even at night so don’t overpack like I did!

Action packed camping holiday, you get up before dawn so get to see the most fabulous sunrise & sunsets over a remote & picturesque landscape each day. Jam packed itinerary with little down time, apart from a quick & cooling dip in swimming pools at a couple of the locations.The hiking is quite full on with a steep rock walks to ancient rock paintings, hills & long valleys crammed with enormous boulders. There was some driving but the views were amazing & our lovely guide Sam was great at pointing out wildlife we passed.

A well-organised trip to discover the stunningly diverse country that is Namibia: reasonably challenging walks, incredible scenery, lovely camping spots and wildlife spotting together made the most unforgettable trip. And great company too — made friends for life.

This is a great trip, fast paced, so don't book if you're looking to chill out! There are a lot of early mornings, but well worth it. Also take the 'easy' rating with a grain of salt, the olive trail is really quite difficult with a lot of walking on loose rocks, scrambling and a chain you have to climb along with a scary drop underneath. The other walks are all very doable, and the nature walks on the last two days are really lovely. I enjoyed the mixture of activities and the stats in the desert are absolutely amazing ✨️

Loved the trip but few pointers; Olive Trail for me was the highlight of the trip but people booking this trip should know that the trail is quite demanding! You need to be reasonably fit to enjoy it. Also, this is a fast paced trip covering a lot in 10 days - early mornings and long days. Despite all that, loved it, loved it, loved it and Samora is just great!

A brilliant and multifaceted adventure! Namibia has so many unique and mesmerizing landscapes!

This trip had many highlights: Canyon hiking, swimming holes, game steaks, sand dune hiking, Instagramable landscapes in Sossusvlei, a bush flight over the desert and along the seashore, driving on dirt roads through remote deserts dotted w/ beautiful mountain ranges, ancient petroglyphs in Spitzkoppe, seal and whale watching, bush walks in a private game reserve, and, of course, a series of safari drives in Etosha National Park!

We were also given an afternoon and morning in Swakopmund to select our own activities (ie horse riding, sandboarding, dune buggies, four-wheelers, sky diving, bush flight, harbor tour, etc.).

Sam, our guide, was great - very considerate of our needs, always looking for ways to improve our experience, and a great ambassador for his tribe and culture.

The camp sites were very clean, well-maintained, and not crowded. Our tents were rather large and the sleeping pads were very comfortable.

What an adventure! Namibia is unlike anywhere I've ever been before - a beautiful country in so many ways, from the first mesmerising sunrise to the milky way and everything in between. I had the time of my life and I can't stop recommending the trip to everyone I talk to. One not to be missed.
