Day 1
LED night tour
Stand Up Paddleboarding
2hrs · 3km
You’ll meet your host in Split town centre and drive to your camp next to the Adriatic Sea. Settle in and explore the coastline before heading off at sunset for a moonlit paddle. Your steed for the night is an LED board that lights up the deep beneath, giving you a unique perspective of the tranquil Dalmatian waters. Head back to base and get a good rest ready for more adventure tomorrow.

Paddle the Cetina River
Stand Up Paddleboarding
5hrs · 5km
Today you’ll make your way to the former pirate town of Omiš and start your paddle down the emerald-green Cetina River. Glide through fast-moving waters and narrow canyons, past mountains and through untouched nature. Stop before you get to the sea and explore Omiš and the canyon from above, then while away the rest of the day relaxing back at camp.
Day 3

Stand Up Paddleboarding
3hrs · 5km
Grab your board for the final time and circumnavigate an inactive volcano. Paddle the crystalline waters as the sun pushes through the trees of the Marjan Forest Park - the historic pine forest that sits on top. Stop off at a couple of beautiful beaches for a bit of snorkelling or shinny up the Sustipan cliffs to try some cliff jumping. Overall the trip was excellent. We loved the river paddle. The hosts and guides were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the accommodation.
Loved everything. The trip was fun, the scenery incredible. The hosts were great - relaxed and flexible. The trip was perfect - it feels like I’ve been away for much longer than a couple of days.
Everything was great.
You couldn't hope for a nicer set of lads leading this tour. Advise ensuring if you want private accommodation for the overnight.
The river trip and night time SUP were awesome. The scenery was spectacular.
Friendly, professional, fun, great day one.
Beautiful paddles, great guys. Wished it could have been a couple of days longer.
I had an amazing time, the guys were great, the location superb, the nighttime light trip was inspired. I might just be back for some more!
The guides were great from the get-go, really encouraging us to roll our sleeves up and gain confidence. The boards without being pushy. The variety between trips was great too, gave a broad all-round introduction to SUP.
Cetina river tour and night time Glow SUP trips were fab and definitely worthy of five stars, totally amazing experience. Unfortunately we had bad weather on day 2 which cancelled our day 2 activities but we didn't get an alternative proposed and it seemed a bit disorganised- I would have expected a bad weather activity as it would have been cheaper to book the two tours we did directly with the operator.
We've crunched the numbers to work out the total carbon footprint of this trip, and plant enough trees to suck 2x as much back out the atmosphere.
What's the number?
It works out on average at 58kg of CO2 emissions per person, including all local transport, accommodation, food, activities, guides, staff and office operations.
The only thing it doesn’t include right now is flights and travel to the destination. We do make an overall estimate across all our customers separately, but as we don’t book flights, have customers from all corners of the world, and no way of reliably knowing their travel plans, we simply can’t include an individual number in the figure on display here. We’ve got a goal for 2023 to fix that, so that when you book, there is a way to measure and mitigate the carbon emitted by your flight too.
But what does the number mean?
Yep, hard to picture eh? To give you an idea:
- Driving 1000miles/1609km would be approx. 281kg of CO2 in an average car (or 140.5kg per person if there was 2 of you in it).
- A return economy class flight London - New York would be approx. 1,619kg (1.66 tonnes) per person.
- 10 trees in a temperate forest are estimated to remove approx. 250kg of CO2 from the air in a period of 5-10 years.
What are we doing about it?
Our trips are relatively low-carbon by design, and we're working with all our hosts to develop long term carbon reduction plans. For every person booked with us since 2016 we’re planting enough trees to suck at least 2x more carbon out the atmosphere than is emitted by their trips. All native trees, as part of amazing projects that are re-foresting degraded land, tackling the biodiversity crisis and supporting local communities at the same time. We go further than that too, also funding re-wilding projects worldwide to help protect important keystone species from extinction. See the reforestation and re-wilding schemes we support. See our carbon action plan.
Want to know more?
Amazingly, no international travel company has ever publicly published their carbon measurements before, as far as we know. We believe that must change, quickly. So we’re openly sharing the method we used in the hope that other companies will be able to more easily follow suit and build on what we've done so far. You'll find it all here.
No SUPing experience is needed. Stand Up Paddleboarding offers a fun way to explore on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body workout. With only a little instruction, most beginners are able to stand up and start paddling shortly after taking a SUP out for the very first time. The water might be calm and flat but you still need a moderate level of fitness and the ability to swim to enjoy this trip to the full.
Sure can! Over 50% of our travellers travel solo, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people.
The sun is usually shining on Split, with temperatures ranging from 13-18˚C in spring, and highs of 25˚C in summer.
