Kayaking
Hiking
With your kayak waiting for you on the beach, review safety and skills and then embark on a day of adventure along the coast, paddling past secluded coves and keeping an eye out for sea turtles.
Your first stop is Voidokoilia, one of the best beaches in Greece. Spend some time swimming and snorkeling in the turquoise waters, then hike up to Navarino Castle for incredible views over the bay.
Walk back to the beach via Gialova Lagoon, a wetland that serves as an important migratory bird hotspot. You might see egrets, herons, sandpipers, osprey, harriers and more.
Finish the day with a paddle to Sfaktiria, a remote island and your home for the night. Camp on the beach, cook a traditional Greek dinner, and indulge in a glass of wine beneath the night sky.

Everything about the trip was great - the scenery we saw, the gorgeous water we got to swim in, the perfect kayaking conditions, and the historical background our host gave us to the locations we visited. The spirit of the group was really friendly and relaxed, and the flexible itinerary meant we had freedom in choosing together what to do next. Even though we had all only just met we all bonded very quickly and had so many laughs! I felt like I was able to really challenge myself on this trip, too, and in all it was a really rewarding experience thanks to the expertise of our host.
Everything was amazing! Our guides were brilliant and words do not do justice to describe how brilliant they made this trip.
Weather, host and kayaking were great.
The trip, hospitality and transport were great.
There aren’t enough stars to rate this!! The tour guide went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable. There was so much attention to detail to make sure everything was perfect. The places were beautiful, lovely people in the group, everything was perfect.
The trip was amazing, and that was mostly thanks to the fantastic and enthusiastic hosts who planned everything perfectly and in the most flexible way possible. When the weather conditions changed, they were quick to change the plan accordingly without us losing out on any fun experience. The hosts also did a fantastic job in helping our group become a fantastic and strong team - despite all odds of having to kayak against a wind storm. I'm sure I'll be back, thanks again!
Everything was great! George, Alex and Stelios were absolutely fantastic in terms of everything, whether it was their knowledge of the seas/kayaks and the surrounding areas or the delicious food!
Great trip and host’s where amazing.
Couldn’t think of a better place to kayak. The hosts were also good fun, professional and I felt safe.
The guides were well informed and fun, the scenery was great, the location was amazing
A reasonable level of fitness is needed, but no previous kayaking experience is required. More important is an adventurous and positive spirit!
Sure can! Over 50% of our travellers travel solo, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people.
The climate in the Peloponnese is Mediterranean. Summer temperatures average 15 – 26°C, and winters cool down to about 11 – 19 °C. Days are generally clear and sunny, especially in the summer when there’s very little chance of rain.
Absolutely. We can arrange this for you at the hotel if required.
Yes of course. This can be left in your hosts vehicles.
Our recommended travel insurance provider is Campbell Irvine.
Travel insurance is compulsory for all of our adventures and you are required to provide your policy information before departing.
Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. We also strongly recommend it includes cancellation and curtailment insurance, should you be unable to join your trip for specific reasons such as illness.
We fully endorse Campbell Irvine as their insurance offers all of the above, so get in touch with them or call on 020 7938 1734 to get your insurance sorted. We suggest that you book travel insurance as soon as you book your adventure, just to cover you for any last-minute life changes. We know you’re an active lot and injuries do happen!
We automatically convert prices from the local currency that a host receives to your chosen currency. We update our exchange rates on a daily basis so this does mean that prices displayed on the site are subject to currency fluctuations, which is why you may see them change over time.
If you wish to change the currency you pay in, head to the bottom of the page.
